High quality privately made grey leather overcoat for a Luftwaffe Flight Oberst, elaborately made garment constructed from best quality heavy grey colored leather, having a large open collar with closure strap underneath, being double breasted with six rows of large grey colored plastic front closure buttons, each button's shank passes through an eyelet in the coat's leather body and is secured with a separate leather loop and snap, coat has deep turn back cuffs, angled and flapped hip pockets, rear waist belt and separate horizontal lower skirt sections, internally the coat was set up to accommodate a snap out fleece lining which would have been held with long rows of WUK4 marked snaps, the internal lining panel are of green colored rayon, the Viennese coat maker's woven label is straight machine stitched to the lining, there are two large internal breast pockets, there are leather loops for an internal was it belt and an adjustable elastic strap for suspending a dagger or sword, the vented rear skirt can be closed with buttons, the matched pair of Oberst rank slip on shoulder boards are affixed with thread loops at each shoulder seam and anchored with small grey painted screw down metal buttons, coat shows service use with wear to the leather's surface, a couple of nicks to the lower front skirt and some small holes to the lower rear skirt lining, striking item, shipping costs will be calculated separately due to the coat's great weight, USD $1000 NEW PRICE
