Splendid set of four pocket service blouse with matching trousers for a member of the Luftwaffe Engineer Corps with the rank of Ingenieur, privately made set with attractive drape, both blouse and trousers are made of mid war quality blue grey colored ribbed trikot wool, the blouse has open collar, four button front, four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs, it is lined in a purplish colored rayon and has an internal breast pocket and a lower waist pocket, it is set up for wear with a dagger or sword, the officer quality buttons are pebbled silver, the collar is piped in twisted aluminum cord, the collar patches are had applied, they have hand embroidered propellors and wreaths in aluminum wires on a pink colored wool, the sewn in shoulder boards, of equivalent Leutnant rank, appear to have had devices applied at one time, the fine bullion national emblem is hand sewn, there are loops for a single place ribbon bar; the straight legged trousers have a pleated front, the waistband has a large flat metal closure hook, fly, waistband and pocket employ two different types of brown plastic buttons, there are tightening straps with buckles at each outer hip, waistband is rayon, pocket bags are cotton, there are two slash hip pockets, a small watch pocket and one buttoned rear pocket, the hemmed leg ends have inner reinforcing tapes, handsome ensemble that is very clean. no damage is noted, USD $2500
