Fine Heer M42 service blouse for a Feldwebel im Sanitätsdienst, rarer pattern blouse having the scalloped pocket flaps but without pleats, garment was manufactured in 1942, the internal vertical lining panel is stamped depot H42 plus sizes, the opposite lower skirt is stamped with the Roman numeral II inside a circle , lining is of grey colored rayons and the belt support straps are of a webbed material, as was the fashion, the skirt hem was shortened by a few centimeters and the lower cargo pockets were repositioned slightly upward on the skirt, the pocket bellows were retained, the bandage pocket was not removed and is shortened, alterations were made via machine sewing using black thread, the blouse's external shell was made of issue quality field grey wool with predominant greenish tint, there is a steel hook and eye at the throat, the four patch pockets and six button front closure, cuffs are adjustable and each has two grey painted wood buttons, the same wooden buttons are used for the collar liner and bandage pocket, the field grey painted pebble steel buttons match, to include the shoulder board buttons, are originally sewn and have almost all of their paint, the subdued pattern woven insignia is factory machine stitched, the collar litzen and national emblem are zig zag stitched, the latter sewn through the lining, included are a pair of slip on shoulder strap for a Sani Feldwebel, they have dark green badge cloth upper panels and synthetic piping, one has a section of discoloring to the piping, these were added as they were a good match in appearance but are not original to the tunic, both lower collar edge and shoulder straps have machine applied metallic NCO tresse, blouse was gently worn and without damage except for two pinhole sized moth holes on the left outer sleeve, a section of original folded EKII ribbon was found in the right lower cargo pocket, attractive all original example, USD $2700 NEW PRICE
