VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. First pattern LSSAH shoulder board cypher, officially worn from from 1935-1939, solid alloy casting with antique silver finish, stylized script LAH with L having raised dots to center portions, AH letters have centered horizontal lines, cypher has two long tapered prongs to the revere, the flattened prong bases are soldered into place, rear is embossed M1/52 and RZM, measures 2,7cm in height, weight is 2.4gms, unused condition, incredibly rare, USD $7500
