Heer Transport EM M40 cap manufactured by Schlesische Mützenfabrik Frankenstein, gently worn example constructed of olive colored cotton twill, lining is of flat red cotton and is stamped with maker information and logo plus 1941 date and size 53, each side has a pair of ventilation grommets, the woven tropical pattern national emblem and rosette are factory hand sewn, the soutache is factory machine straight stitched with the ends inserted into the cap body at the stitch line attaching brim, attractively shaped and showing light use with pleasing age patina, no damage, desirable maker, USD $6750 SOLD
