Well used Heer M36 service blouse for a Heer Infanterie Unteroffizier, garment exhibits the characteristics of depot rework as there are patches to both the ribbed cotton lining panels as well as the body, webbed internal belt hook support straps were retrofitted to the interior and the sleeve ends were extended with additional sections of wool added to the inner cuff, the base garment was constructed of pre war quality field grey wool and has a dark green badge cloth collar closed with a brass hook and eye, it has a five button front closure, four pleated patch pockets, adjustable cuffs and a rear centrally vented skirt, the field grey painted pebbled buttons generally match and most have additional reinforcing stitching, collar liner, bandage pocket and cuff buttons are horn, the left sleeve is missing one button, the black size stampings are quite faint, date of manufacture was most likely 1938, each elbow has a rectangular shaped patch and there is a larger patch using later quality fabric at the right rear skirt hem, all repairs were carefully executed by machine sewing, the subdued pattern Litzen collar patches are straight machine stitched, the lower edge of the collar has machine applied subdued metallic NCO style Tresse, the shoulder straps are private purchase quality made of felt material with internal stiffeners, the piping is also of felt, the Heer style metallic NCO Tresse is machine applied to teach strap, the white on dark green woven national emblem is originally factory applied using the 'zip and flip' method, an EKII ribbon is applied to second buttonhole and this looks to be originally done, at one time a short ribbon bar and a great badge were pinned to the left breast, overall blouse shows significant nap wear, there are period darned repairs to collar, front closure edge, and right rear skirt, there is mothing to the surface of the right shoulder strap, another small hole is found at the right lower pocket corner and there is a repair to the left cargo pocket's lower front seam, all original, blouse clearly exhibits the lengths to which the German clothing industry went to expend the service life of garments, includes worn collar liner and two aluminum belt hook supports, USD $1350 HOLD
