Excellent Heer M36 service blouse for a soldier assigned to an Unteroffizierschule (perhaps nfanterieschule Döberitz), constructed of early high quality field grey wool and with lining components of light grey colored ribbed cotton, stamped with maker information, sizes and H 40 depot, black plastic buttons are used for collar liner, cuffs and bandage pocket, having painted pebbled metal buttons with practically all of their paint, all buttons are originally sewn and none are missing, sleeves were period lengthened about 2cm each and this was professionally done, the lower cargo pockets are tacked down at the corners, the shoulder straps were sewn in with the issue bridles being removed, the dark green badge cloth shoulder straps have synthetic piping and metallic machine applied NCO tresse, each strap has machine embroidered gothic lettering in white thread reading US with the letter D below, the embroidery is sewn completely through each strap's surface to the underside, the dark green badge cloth collar has matching machine applied NCO tresse and machine sewn mounted piped Litzen collar patches with white Waffenfarbe and pale green center bars, the woven national emblem is the first pattern white on grey and is hand sewn, a Westwall ribbon bar is pined above the left breast pocket, condition is immaculate and there is scarcely any trace of wear, a couple of tiny pinhead sized holes at the right upper sleeve were closed with a few stitches, bright and attractive garment likely reserved for best wear by its former owner, USD $2900
