Set of piped service blouse plus both matching breeches and trousers for a Heer Hauptmann from Kradschützen-Bataillon 2, featuring elegant tailoring using the finest materials and with the woven label of the Wilhelm Wellhausen firm, the blouse itself is made of ultra high quality field grey color trikot wool having luxurious drape, with a dark green badge cloth stand and fall collar, four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs, the lower edge of the dark green collar, the blouse's front closure and the upper edge of the turn back cuffs are piped in rosa colored wool, the lining is of pale green colored rayon, an internal waist belt of the same material has a silvered clasp, there is a single internal breast pocket and provision for wear of a dagger or sword, the high quality silver pebbled metal buttons are marked Extra Fein, all match and look to be originally sewn, the shoulder board buttons are the smaller sewn down type, the officer collar patches are hand embroidered in aluminum wires on rosa colored wool, they are machine sewn to the collar, which is closed with two sets of brass hook and eye, the shoulder boards have bright silver metallic cords on rosa colored wool, each has two gilt rank pips and a gilt gothic K device, the boards are sewn very tightly into the shoulder seams, the national emblem is hand embroidered in aluminum wires on dark green badge cloth and it is hand applied, the aiguillette is attached to a button under the right shoulder board, there are loops for a ribbon bar and three or four breast badges, there is a small hole to the left breast pocket's center pleat, there is also a period darned repair to the from left shoulder but this is done so well that it is practically invisible; the trousers are made of an early finer quality stone grey colored trikot wool, they have two vertical slash pockets at the hip, a small watch pocket and tightening straps with Prym marked friction bucket at each hip, pocket bags are of soft white cotton, the waistband is of soft rayon, with rosa colored wool piping at each outer leg seam; the breeches are made of a thicker quality trikot of the same color, they have flapped and buttoned watch pocket, hip pockets and a rear pocket, they have tightening straps with slides as the outer hips, the calves have functional zippers marked Ri-Ri (one has a partially broken pull), these too have the rosa colored wool piping and appear practically unworn, by comparison, the trousers show the most wear of the three pieces with evident patina of wear and a couple of darned repairs at the crotch, beautiful set, USD $6750
