Excellent named Luftwaffe Evening Gala Tunic for an Oberfeldarzt, with the woven label of a Hamburg tailor, having the name tag in one of the inner pockets ifor a Stabsarzt dated Mar. '37, garment is made of early high quality blue grey colored trikot wool, the lining is of blue colored rayon and sleeve linings are in white, the lower collar edge is piped in twisted aluminum wire cord, the sewn in shoulder boards each have a gilt rank pip and Rod of Asclepius, each board is anchored by a silver finished zinc screw down button, the remaining silver pebbled buttons are originally sewn and the waist closure chain is still in place, the right breast is sewn a hand embroidered national emblem rendered in aluminum wires with thread highlights, the aiguillette is held in place by a button under the right shoulder board, there are loops for one badge on the right breast and two on the left, unmarked 1914 EKI and SWB are included, condition is excellent with only light wear to collar edge, faint stains to the lower left sleeve and a tiny area of non penetrative insect tracking to the lower right cuff, USD $1200 NEW PRICE
