Superlative early Heer EM black Panzer wrap, top example constructed of high quality dense black wool and having lining components and internal pockets of slightly contrasting sections of grey colored ribbed cotton, well marked with sizes, depot B.II.40 and maker stamp for Holz & Binkowski, markings are partially obscured by period installed sections of chest padding intended to improve the wearer's appearance in wear, wrap has inner belt hook support straps and waist tightening tunnels made of the same grey colored ribbed cotton, inner waist ties are of flat black tape with HBT weave, there are four large black composite front closure buttons, lapel and cuff closure buttons are of a smaller size, the shoulder strap buttons are the field grey painted pebbled metal type, all buttons are originally sewn and none are missing, the factory machine sewn Panzer collar patches have rosa colored wool piping, the aluminum Totenkopfen have rounded aluminum prongs which penetrate the collar, the second type woven white on black national emblem is factory applied in the 'zip and flip' style, straight machine stitched across the top of the eagles' wing, and then being folded over with the lower portions sewn by hand, the wool piped shoulder straps are sewn in and sewn down along their perimeter, there are three sets of original badge loops, an EKII ribbon is originally applied to the top most lapel buttonhole, wrap would appear to have been wore seldomly and would rate in near mint condition, this wrap represents one of the earliest examples made without the piped collar and is one of the very best we have had the pleasure to offer, USD $7000 NEW PRICE
