VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Any visitor to this site does so with the understanding that it is strictly for the purposes of historical collecting and research as stated above.

Service worn Fliegerbuse for a Luftwaffe Felddivision Jäger EM, appealing example constructed of early mid war quality issue blue grey colored wool, the rear lining panel and hip pocket bags are of flat blue colored flat cotton, armpit lining sections are of blue grey colored rayon, both internal chest pockets were neatly removed, there is a steel hook and eye at the throat, three of the four blue colored glass front closure buttons remain, the shoulder strap and hip pocket flap buttons are blue painted pebble steel, they have varying degrees of paint, the wool collar patches are machine straight stitched, each has a single zinc rank gull with prongs that penetrate the collar, the match pair of slip on shoulder straps have wool piping and the tongue reinforcements are of ribbed cotton, the shoulder strap bridles are factory installed and have the double row of construction stitching, the machine embroidered national emblem is factory zig zag stitched, presents light to moderate service use, the left internal pocket bag has areas of fading and abrading, the stitching for the belt hook support holes has been removed, there is a small area of insect damage to the lower front vertical closure plus a couple of nips to the sleeve at the left elbow, and there is a wartime machine darned repair to the right rear shoulder area, rare, USD $3400 HOLD
