VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Any visitor to this site does so with the understanding that it is strictly for the purposes of historical collecting and research as stated above.

Luftwaffe Waffenrock for a Flight Obergefreiter der Kriegsschule, having an open collar that has the provision to be worn closed with hook and eye at the throat and a tab with button located under the collar, constructed of early issue quality blue grey colored wool, lined in ribbed blue grey colored cotton, having one internal pocket and stamped in black ink with sizes, maker information and LBA (S) 39, there is a faint unit stamp on the internal pocket edge, with two internal belt support straps at the inner hip, blouse with four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs, collar is piped in golden yellow colored twisted cord, collar patches are machine applied and aluminum rank gulls' prongs penetrate the collar, the machine embroidered national emblem is factory zig zag machine stitched with the swastika portion overlapping the upper edge of the pocket flap being stitched by hand, the matched pair of sewn in shoulder straps have wool piping and the letters KS machine chain stitched embroidered, the rank chevron has machine applied metallic NCO Tresse and is hand sewn to the sleeves, silver pebbled buttons are used throughout, shoulder strap buttons are the smaller type, the smaller buttons are black glass, blouse shows little wear and just light age, there is a .5cm hole to the left sleeve adjacent to the rank chevron, very nice, USD $1650
