Interesting Imperial Japanese Navy Type 90 field helmet, the factory blue finish was overpainted in olive paint, the lower inner and outer rim edges are painted in an off white coat of paint, the inner dome is painted in white 7260 and the the inner rear skirt also has painted numbers in white, the anchor badge was reattached after being refinished, the three section red brown colored leather liner is complete with its pouches and drawstrings, the leather liner band is embossed with the anchor symbol, complete with its full length webbed chinstrap, shell has scratches to the finish revealing the base blue paint, the off white painted rim sections show flaking, the liner exhibits darkening from being worn, the purpose of the white painted borders is unknown, USD $2785
