Excellent field service blouse for an Oberwachtmeister in a Polizei Schützen-Regiment, intended for use by police units assembled for use in combat, cut is practically identical to a Heer pattern blouse produced circa 1941, constructed of police colored wool and having a six button front, with upper and lower pleated pockets, the lower of the cargo type, with split adjustable cuffs and provision for belt support hooks, the internal belt hook support straps are made of light grey colored rayon, blouse is lined in grey/brown colored ribbed cotton and is stamped Pol. 1943 on the lower left lining panel, maker code, size and Bergen 43 black ink stamping are made to the adjacent vertical lining panel, matching painted pebbled metal buttons are used for pockets and front closure, smaller versions are used to anchor the shoulder boards, police green colored glass buttons are used for the cuffs, bandage pocket and for the neck liner, the woven unmounted Polizei collar patches are factory straight machine stitched, the machine embroidered sleeve eagle is factory zig zag machine sewn, the shoulder board bridles are more narrow than the Heer style in order to accommodate the thinner tongues of police shoulder boards, a matched pair of shoulder boards for the rank of Oberwachtmeister are included, there are loops for one breast badge, included are a pair of aluminum belt support hooks, blouse is in almost unissued condition with just a minor dirt stain to the lower right pocket and some staining/fading to a lining panel, the shoulder boards show a bit more age, USD $1675 HOLD
