Later war Erel made visored cap for a Heer Panzer officer, appealing example having seen considerable field use and still presenting a handsome appearance with high peak, large cap measuring approximately size 60, constructed of mid war field grey colored quality trikot wool, cap band is dark green badge cloth wool, the thick rosa colored piping is of boiled wool or felt, the cap has a silver metallic chin cord affixed with two finely pebbled silver buttons held with prongs, the composite visor's surface shows fine crazing, the silver alloy national emblem is attached with three prongs that penetrate the lining, the bullion wire wreath has a metal rosette and is hand sewn to the cap band, internally the cap is lined in two different types of golden yellow colored rayon, the lining under the celluloid sweat diamond has the Erel logo, the sweat diamond itself is yellowed, cracked and is missing fragments, the brown leather sweatband is cracked at the right templed where the Erel logo is embossed, the sweatband does not fully meet at the cap's rear, the cap is dirty from use and has a pick here and there to the fabric, fantastic looking cap, USD $1725
