Exceptional Heer M35 double decal helmet, in the top percentile condition wise and the best example we have handled, the helmet was worn very little and, with the exception of a few minor scratches and light scuffs the helmet is in a factory fresh state, the Heer eagle and nation colors decal must be at least 99% intact, there is no appreciable wear to the top and the pins have practically all of their paint, the right side pin is of a slightly lighter color than the other two, looking inside confirms that the pins have not been interfered with and all have their washers tightly affixed, the left and right side pins have surface verdigris, the reinforced liner bands are marked to a Berlin maker and are dated 1938, the clear dome stamp also has the 1938 date, the light tan colored liner is stamped in black ink size 57 and still has its original drawstring, the full length black finished leather chinstrap is marked to a Dresden maker and dated 1938, the shell is stamped Q64, lot number 706, a truly beautiful helmet, USD $17,950
