Unissued second type Waffen-SS helmet cover of Oakleaf pattern camouflaged fabric, brightly printed in spring reversible to autumn camouflage patterns, constructed of Oakleaf A panels with one side panel being of a slightly different camouflage print run, the foliage loops are a mixture of Oakleaf A & B on the spring side and Planetree #2 and Oakleaf A & B pattern on the autumn side, the rocker hook spring sleeve covering panels are the Oakleaf B pattern, the main panels are double needle machine sewn, construction threads are a mixture of field gray, brown, and dark tan colors, the foliage loops are constructed using off white/light grey threads, photographed on a size 62 shell (helmet not included) and marked size 1 on the autumn side, all of the rocker hooks are steel and have some slight surface rust, the springs inside the three tunnels are attached and all are functional, with the exception of minor oxidation to the clips and a tiny hole to the right side where the fabric has come into contact with the spring, the cover is in mint condition, excess construction threads are still evident, USD $5750
