Full profile

Late issue Luftwaffe M38 no decal Fallschirmjäger helmet, excellent example showing service use and with scratches and scuffs to the rough textured 'schiefergrau' factory paint, the helmet's top is a bit more worn and paint thinner at the top, especially at rear dome, the shell's stamp ET 68 is partially covered by the rolled rim, the lot number is 5522, the liner system is attached with four unpainted slotted bolts, the washer for each is tight and without tool marks, the helmet has steel liner bands and black foam rubber pads, the tan colored leather liner has some chafing at the edges but is complete and undamaged, the liner is stamped shell size 68 and liner size 56, the liner is also stamped in black ink with an RBNr, the chinstrap harness system is in fine lightly used condition and completely functional, its leather components are quite supple and no parts are missing or damaged, a very nice example of this type that was actually used in service, USD $7475
