Pre war Erel made Alter Art style visored cap for a Heer medical officer, enormous size 60 or 61, the cream colored rayon lining is stamped with the Erel Sonderklasse logo, with a flexible tan colored leather sweatband, the fine quality field grey doeskin wool body shows little overt wear but has some moth tracking and holes to left top panel and to the right rear, there are a couple of smaller penetrations to the left front and right side, the cap band is dark green wool badge cloth, piping is dark blue colored wool, the early pattern Heer metal national emblem is affixed by prongs that do not protrude through the lining, the off white wool wreath is directly applied to the cap band and has white thread highlights, the flexible black leather visor shows fine cracking, USD $2225
