NS era Deutsches Rotes Kreuz nurse's ensemble, includes cotton dress smock, apron, mob cap, DRK enameled pin, woven DRK armband with stamps and a leather medical kit case; the pullover blue pinstriped cotton smock has a detachable collar and long skirt with double hem, the front placket has four clear plastic buttons and a press snap at the throat, with separate waist belt and white plastic button with buttoning tab, adjustable cuffs each have two celluloid buttons, the accompanying apron is of white cotton and has two patch pockets, one internal and one external, apron is complete with straps and tie strings, also included is a nurse mob cap with DRK emblem woven to a band along its lower edge, further is a Deutsches Rotes Kreuz enameled pin with pin back and marked Ges. Gesch, the brown leather medical case's rear is embossed D.R.K. Sanitätslager Babelsberg and the inner lid has a circular DRK ink stamp, its adjustable leather carrying strap has spring clips, case has a separate handle and internal compartments for medical instruments and supplies which are included, all pieces are used but in excellent condition, very nice grouping for a Red Cross nurse, these ladies were held in high esteem by civilian and soldier alike, USD $1380 HOLD
