Unique Heer mouse grey wrap with trousers for a Panzerjäger Lieutenant awarded the TDB, this particular example is shown on pp 224-226 of Panzer Feldjacke: German Armored Crew Uniforms of the Second World War - Vol.2 by Scott Pritchett, the wrap was assembled from hard-wearing grey colored fabric that has faded to a lighter shade with the exposed external surfaces showing a greater degree of fading, this model had no internal lining though the vented armpits have reinforcements, these and the tie tape tunnels are constructed from the same material as the wrap itself, the tie tapes themselves are of a grey HBT, the buttoning tabs and armpit linings are fashioned from grey colored rayon, there is a large steel hook and eye at the throat, there is a double row of naturally colored pressed paper front closure buttons, lapel and buttoning tab buttons are the same type but the cuff buttons are a smaller size, all paper buttons are still in place and all are originally sewn, the lower inner skirt is stamped in black ink with RBNr and sizes, the wrap was slightly modified for wear by its officer owner, shoulder strap bridles of the same material were hand stitched to each shoulder, the lower rear vertical seam section was taken in by a couple of centimeters, the lower edge of the large front cargo pocket was raised by a few centimeters, perhaps to accommodate wear with an officer's belt, the factory applied Panzer collar patches were removed and a pair of Panzer officer's collar patches with rosa center bars were machine applied into their place, a pair of slip on shoulder boards were installed through the new bridles, the straps have subdued metallic tops on rosa colored felt bases, the lower side of each strap has insect damage, the tongue of the left board has parted from the board itself, each board is held by a painted pebbled alloy button sewn into place, the woven pattern subdued national emblem is factory sewn in the 'zip and flip' style via straight machine stitch, the right upper sleeve has an originally applied Silver Tank Destruction Badge, hand applied with black cotton thread, its embedded aspect and the darker sleeve fabric colors under the TDB's edges are more evident in person, there are two sets of original badge loops, aside from the fading, wrap shows service wear, soiling, rust stains and so on, a .5cm section of the left outer sleeve seam has come undone; the trousers are also constructed grey colored cotton and mirror the pattern of the more common drillich Panzer trousers in having five flapped button pockets - two asymmetrical hip pockets, one large thigh pocket and two rear pockets, in addition there are two slash pockets at either hip, trousers have an integral belt made of tropical style cotton twill with a three pronged claw buckle, they are slightly modified with tapered leg ends using matching grey cotton material, all buttons are of pressed paper and all are still in place, the fly buttons are smaller, the inner waist and fly facing materials are grey colored colored rayon, pocket bags are of coarse off white cotton, the faint RBNr and size stampings may be observed on the inner right waistband, trousers are worn, faded and stained from use, there are small period patch repairs, one to the left rear pocket and another to the lower right rear leg, don't recall seeing another wrap with an originally applied TDB, a truly spectacular one-of-a-kind combat set, USD $18,900
