Privately made Polizei service blouse for the rank of Major der Verwaltungspolizei, conforming to the standard pattern and constructed of Polizei colored trikot wool, blouse is lined in grey green colored ribbed rayon, there is an internal waist belt with clasp and provision was made for the suspension of a sword, with stand and fall collar having a pair of hooks and eyes and cuffs covered with dark brown wool, the lower collar edge, vertical front closure and upper cup edges are piped in light grey colored wool, having high quality pebbled silver buttons marked Extra Fein, the collar patches are hand embroidered with aluminum wires on light grey colored bases and are hand applied to the collar with invisible stitches, the shoulder boards, which have a secondary piping in bordeaux red, are tightly sewn into the shoulder seams, the fine police officer's national emblem is rendered in aluminum wires with white and black thread highlights and it is hand sewn to the left upper sleeve, there are loops for a long ribbon bar and one breast badge, the blouse exhibits the lightest wear only and there are no repairs or damage save for a few spots of insect damage to the felt reverse of the collar, the collar patches have light surface oxidation, impressive, USD $1500
