Rare Heer Splittertarn camouflage pattern pullover smock, splinter camo printed on drillich fabric reversible to white, having a flat woven taupe colored drawstring laced through the front placket's five pairs of eyelets, all buttonholes are machine sewn using grey and black colored threads, the reversible waist drawstring is similar but is black, there is a separate tunnel of fabric applied horizontally at the waist to contain this waist drawstring, the chest has a pair of vertically positioned flaps to allow access to inner garments, the white side of the right chest flap is stamped in black ink with the maker Carl Holter's information and also has a darker depot stamp St.42, the garment's skirt is hemmed, sleeve ends with selvedge are made to be gathered with tightening straps secured with dish steel buttons, each armpit has reinforced ventilation slits, smock was gently worn and is in excellent condition with the only flaw being a 5cm length of undone seam at the reverse right cuff edge, the white side shows age yellowing and the inner neckline has inking showing postwar military use, possibly the most desirable Heer camouflage garment, USD $7450
