Attractive service used Heer M42 service blouse for an Infanterie Feldwebel, one of the more difficult models to find in an unaltered state, this example has not been shortened or otherwise modified, manufactured using German made mid war quality field grey wool of a more green shade, lining and internal bandage pocket are made of grey colored rayon, the internal belt hook support straps are webbed, the size stampings are positioned unusually low on the inner facing lining panel of this example, what may be a blurred RBNr is applied to the bandage pocket, blouse has a steel hook and eye at the throat, six button front, four patched pockets with scalloped pocket flaps and adjustable cuffs, each cuff has a single horn button, the bandage pocket button is pressed paper, the collar liner buttons were removed, several of the grey painted pebbled steel buttons have had reinforcing stitching applied, several of the buttonholes show fraying, the subdued woven litzen collar patches and national emblem are factory applied, the collar patches are machine straight stitched and the eagle is sewn in the 'zip and flip' manner - machine straight stitched across the top (through the lining) and with the lower portions being hand stitched, the matched pair of slip on shoulder straps have white wool piping, their tongue reinforcing materials are ribbed cotton and both are stamped N43 in purple ink, each strap has a zinc rank pip, both collar and shoulder straps have machine sewn metallic NCO tresse, EKII and KVK ribbons are originally sewn to the second buttonhole, remnants of loops for one badge are centered on the left breast pocket and their is evidence of badges having been pinned through the pocket itself, piece is rather evenly worn overall with no holes, tears or repairs noted, very desirable, USD $3250
