First type Heer EM tropical service blouse for a Panzergrenadier Gefreiter, superb early example constructed of a cotton twill fabric having more of a sage green color, with size and manufacturer, Baument & Zantopf - Breslau, stampings in black ink, with the exception of the sewn down shoulder strap buttons, the matching field grey painted pebbled steel buttons are held with S rings, garment has an open collar and four pleated patch pockets, having adjustable cuffs and bandage pocket with the complete set of originally sewn pressed paper buttons, lining components, bandage pocket and belt hook support straps are made of a more olive colored ribbed cotton, the woven tropical pattern listen collar patches are factory machine straight stitched, the woven tropical national emblem is factory hand sewn, completely appropriate for this period of production, the tropical pattern rank chevron is originally hand sewn and is nicely seated into the fabric, included are a slightly mismatched pair of Panzergrenadier EM shoulder straps with synthetic piping, these too are made of the sage green colored cotton twill and have under panels of olive colored tropical overcoat wool, blouse was only slightly worn and shows just a few minor scuffs and faint stains, there is no outright damage or alteration and little sign of actual wear, top example of a type found in few collections, USD $5550
