VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Any visitor to this site does so with the understanding that it is strictly for the purposes of historical collecting and research as stated above.

TIP22 Published NSDAP Dienstrock für Hauptstellenleiter, service blouse is constructed of brown colored trikot wool, with open collar fully piped in red for Gau-level personnel, having a four button front, two pleated breast patch pockets, two lower unpleated cargo pockets, turn back cuffs and centrally vented rear skirt with two belt support buttons, lined in gold colored ribbed cotton and with a single internal breast pocket, sleeve linings are of candy striped rayon, the woven label of a Geislingen tailor is hand sewn to the inner neck lining area, two different sizes of gilded magnetic metal buttons with raised NSDAP eagles are used, the red wool collar patches have two L-shaped silver aluminum wire tresses overlaid by mobile swastika patterns and are piped in red, these are hand sewn to the collar, the multi piece Party armband has a red wool base and black tape swastika on a white disc, it is hand sewn to the sleeve with red colored thread, sporadic patches of soiling are evident to the exterior of the wool and there are a few picks and a small hole to the right upper arm, the lower edge of the right cuff has areas of abrading, this example is featured on page 55 of Jeff Clark’s “Uniforms of the NSDAP: Uniforms, Headgear, and Insignia”, 2007., USD $3300
