VirtualGrenadier is a non-political informational and commercial web site devoted to documenting the appearance of the German soldier 1939-1945 through the use of period photographs, by showcasing examples from private collections, and by offering original examples for sale. The site is intended for use by researchers, archivists and collectors of historical military memorabilia. This site carries no affiliation whatsoever with any political ideology. Crisp Luftwaffe Flak Leutnant four pocket service blouse with awards, having a woven Trier-base tailor's label, garment is assembled from mid war quality Luftwaffe blue ribbed trikot, the blouse has an open collar, four pleated patch pockets and turn back cuffs, it has one internal pocket and and a strap for the suspension of a dagger, it has a full complement of silver finished pebbled zinc buttons, the Leutnant rank shoulder boards are sewn in, the Leutnant rank collar patches and bullion national emblem are hand sewn, the collar has thick twisted aluminum cord piping along the outer edge, there are loops for three badges on the left breast plus loops for a ribbon bar, the following badges were attached when received and are included: EKI marked 26 (B. H. Mayer), unmarked tombac ball hinge Flak badge with flat wire catch, and a black painted stamped brass BWB, all of the badges show more wear than the tunic itself, EKII and Ostmedaille ribbons are sewn to the first buttonhole, blouse is quite fresh and exhibits little wear, there is a stain to the lining at the right hip and a few scattered picks to the fabric, mostly at the left cuff, bright, attractive and all original, USD $2950
