Amazing first pattern tropical service blouse for a Heer Panzergrenadier Oberleutnant with originally applied Afrikakorps sleeve band, standard earlier issue service blouse as commonly adopted for wear without modification by an officer, constructed of olive colored cotton twill, the vertical button concealment placket is stamped in black ink with sizes (chest size 100 )and depot M42, garment has not been shortened or taken in, the cuffs have not been altered and the shoulder strap bridles have not been modified, the matching field grey painted pebbled buttons, with the exception of those anchoring the shoulder boards, are held with S rings, pressed paper button are originally installed at bandage pocket and cuffs and none ar missing, the woven tropical pattern Litzen collar patches are factory straight machine stitched with hand finished ends, the factory applied early tropical pattern woven national emblem is straight machine stitched across the top of the eagle's wings and then flipped over with lower portions being sewn by hand, the woven Afrikakorps sleeveband is straight stitch machine sewn to the the lower right sleeve using olive colored threads, the band's metallic lettering shows a degree of oxidation, the slip on Panzergrenadier Oberleutnant shoulder boards are consonant in wear with the garment itself, showing some minor staining and abrading, the left breast pocket has two sets of badge loops and an EKII ribbon is sewn into the second buttonhole from the top, blouse was service worn and exhibits fading, it is interesting to observe the varying degrees of fading to the different panels from which the garment was constructed, there is more wear to the blouse's high spots and a few scattered tiny stains, however, there is no damage nor are there repairs, a set of field grey painted belt hook support hooks are installed and a '42 dated bandage packet is included, it is very rare to encounter such an example with originally applied sleeve band, USD $6975 HOLD
