Custom made service blouse for a Hauptmann in a Heer Schützen-Regiment, having a frayed (and fragile) woven label from a Würzburg tailor and with a nametape dated may 1941, assembled from fine early quality field grey trikot wool, having a dark green badge cloth covered stand and fall collar with two sets of hook and eye, five button front, four pleated patch pockets, turn back cuffs and vented rear skirt, lining is of pale green colored rayon, there is one internal breast pocket and a finished slit for suspending a dagger, the officer quality collar patches have colored metallic Waffenfarbe and they are hand sewn, the reverse collar has bobbin stitching from a previous application, the shoulder boards are tightly sewn into the shoulder seams and these have never been out, each board has a gilt gothic S device, the national emblem has fine silver wire embroidery with black thread highlights on dark green badge cloth, it is hand applied, it is considered that the collar patches and national emblem were refreshed at some point by the wearer after the blouse had been worn for a period, there are loops for a ribbon bar and three breast badges, blouse shows quite a bit of use and past soling, at some point the garment was cleaned and an old laundry tag is attached to one cuff, lining is faded and there a couple of seams have come undone, there are no holes or other damage, USD $2000 NEW PRICE
